Dr Alexis began his journey in veterinary school in 2015 at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City, completing coursework during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. He earned his degree in early 2023 after conducting research on Mycoplasma haemofelis as part of his social service. Also completing a diploma in Clinical Pathology.

A few weeks after graduating, he opened his own clinic in Mexico City with some colleagues. However, he has always had a longing for something more—a sense of adventure and a desire for new experiences. This led him to explore opportunities in New Zealand.

Note from Dr Alexis- “I’m incredibly grateful to have found a place like Pet Doctors West Harbour to begin this exciting new chapter. I’m thrilled to be here and look forward to meeting the community and seeing what this journey holds!” 🐾❤️
